What is a Block List?
A block list is a list of users, actions, words, or other things that are blocked. On any application or website that lets you "block" things, there is an internal block list that keeps track of everything you have blocked. In some cases, it's possible to export or share this block list with other users, or to subscribe to or use multiple block lists simultaneously, in which case your final block list that the computer uses to figure out what is blocked and what is not becomes the combination of all block lists that you use.
Block lists are called "moderation lists" on Bluesky.
