What is MPC-BE?

MPC-BE (Media Player Classic: Black Edition) [sourceforge.net/projects/mpcbe/] is a free and open source video player for Windows. It supports opening AVI, MP3, WebM, MKV, WMV, MOV, FLV, WAV, MP3, FLAC, OGG, WMA, AIFF, and MIDI, among other formats; playing the next file in the same folder; saving the current video frame as an image; plus several other features.

Is MPC-BE Open Source?

MPC-BE is open source, licensed under GPLv3, and having a repository both on SourceForge and on GitHub [github.com/Aleksoid1978/MPC-BE].
