What is Game Jolt?

Game Jolt [gamejolt.com] is a game store website where you can download and purchase games, mainly DRM-Free, and publish games you've made as well. It features games for all desktop platforms: Windows, macOS, Linux, and even "other" (which I assume doesn't mean BSD). The store also lists free games that you can play on your web browser via the website , e.g. games made with Unity. Besides being a website, Game Jolt is also available as an application, a desktop (and smartphone) client for downloading titles from the store.

Note: the "Play" button is a bit hard to see on desktop. It should be in the center column at the top of the "feed" on a game's page, next to download buttons.

A message at the top says "Game Jolt's Store is an open platform to share your games with the world." A button reads "Add your game." Below, "Browse games" and a list of hashtagged categories as icons with labels: action, horror, adventure, fangame, fnaf, undertale, bendy, fnf, rpg, other. Below, four tabs: Featured (active), Hot, Best, New. Filters: Price, OS, Browser, Maturity, Status, Partners. Three large thumbnails of cartoon style games can be seen.
