What is Binary Code?

Binary code is a code that isn't text code, or even image code (e.g. a QR code), but just bits and bytes that have special meaning for a program capable of interpreting it correctly.

A good example of binary code is machine code, which encodes the algorithm that a CPU should execute as bits.
