What is a PFP on Social Media?
PFP means profile picture1, i.e. avatar: the small image that appears next to your display name in your posts and profile page on social media.
Examples of Usage
- I don't know how to change my pfp.
- If you block someone on Bluesky, their pfp becomes blurry.
- Breaking news: user with an anime pfp disagrees with user with a furry pfp on the Internet.
