What is a Bookmark on the Web?
A bookmark is something you save so you can remember to revisit it later. For example, you can bookmark a webpage in all major web browsers to revisit it later, or bookmark a post on some social media websites to revisit it later. In many cases, "to bookmark" and "to favorite" mean the same thing.
